FULL INTERIOR CONCEPT
Precio Fishbone's new Stockholm office is located in the historic Grönstedtska Palatset in Hagastaden in Stockholm. The building, built in 1923 as the old headquarters of Vin & Sprit, has been thoroughly renovated and developed into modern office premises in an attractive location between the city center and Solna.
Precio Fishbone's interior design concept was based on creating a warm and cozy environment in an otherwise industrial and bare space. The original concrete walls and the dark asphalt floor in the former warehouse part of the premises were to be preserved, something we wanted to work with but also try to soften. Mullioned windows and original floors add a nice contrast between the old and new.
The new kitchen incorporates naturally treated oak, which is also found in the furniture in the lounge, dining area and conference rooms. Beige and warm green tones are combined with colorful elements of red and light brown leather. Vegetation is also emphasized with many plants and larger trees spread across the space and the industrial character of the building is picked up by mullioned glass partitions and dark carpentry. The project retained some existing furniture and repainted and refitted storage units, a simple way of reusing the old while making it work together with the new concept.
