Nestled in the vibrant heart of Västra Hamnen, between the sea breeze and Malmö's iconic Turning Torso, this corner townhouse spans three levels, showcasing dynamic architecture. The ground floor features an open and social layout, where the family desired a large custom-built sofa by the dining table, doubling as comfortable seating, integrated storage, and a cozy reading nook. Directly connected to the dining area is the house's patio, which serves as a secluded oasis inspired by Japanese garden architecture. Here, we have worked with carefully selected vegetation and designed a custom-built outdoor sofa with integrated storage and a countertop for a modern pizza oven.
The second and third floors house the living areas, bathroom, and family bedrooms. Each floor includes custom-designed furniture tailored to the family's needs, such as a built-in bioethanol fireplace, storage, and plywood beds and desks for the children's rooms. Natural colour tones and timeless materials like wood, natural stone, and leather are enhanced by vibrant accents, complemented by the family's personal art and décor.
