Even before the first sketch, we knew we had to respect this space, and it turned out to be a goldmine. Hidden behind the panel walls that once covered the restaurant’s interior, history was preserved. It was literally ingrained in the walls. Naturally, this dictated how everything would take shape. The original ceiling and the old façade wall are now complemented by raw and minimalist materials and color choices.

It has been a wonderful experience to create a timeless and balanced environment that highlights and allows the food to take center stage. And, of course — it felt great to design a Michelin-starred restaurant!
