Our story
HISTORY
Located in Malmö since 1997, Rumrum has grown from a “two man shop” to a design studio of fifteen employees with a second office in Copenhagen.
Our passion for furniture started as a hobby, which grew into the establishment of a furniture store in 1997, followed by the launch of our own furniture line and eventually an interior design studio. In 2022, we expanded further by opening a branch in Copenhagen. Today, we operate across Scandinavia and undertake projects internationally.

We specialize in creating personalized interior concepts for offices, retail spaces, hospitality settings, and private residences.
SUSTAINABILITY
We aim to minimize our environmental footprint and promote sustainability by conscientiously evaluating our practices, therefore we work with selected producers who meet stringent standards such as Möbelfakta, the Swan Ecolabel, ISO certifications, and eco-certifications. These brands ensure high quality and choose natural, renewable, local, and recycled materials for long-term use.
By obtaining certification in ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 in 2023, we strengthened our operations. This ensures a standardized approach to environmental and quality issues.
