Since June 2016, the restaurant Badhytten has stood ready on the sand dunes of Skanör. When we began developing the interior design concept, it quickly became clear that we wanted to create anything but a classic harbor tavern. Instead, we borrowed colors from sun-bleached swim shorts, took inspiration from the humid heat of Mediterranean evenings, and blended it with the Skanör-turquoise waters and creamy white sand. Natural materials like wood, concrete, and stone have been combined with shades of blue and a sea of complementary colors, creating an exotic atmosphere at home.
