FULL INTERIOR CONCEPT
Tactel is a digital interaction agency with around a hundred employees, including developers, designers, and salespeople, all working under the same roof. It is a highly creative company that loves design and technology, something that is also close to RumRum's heart – which made it especially fun to develop and create the interior design concept for Tactel. High up among the rooftops in these beautiful turn-of-the-century premises in Malmö, this wonderful group wanted to add color to their rather white office. We created a calm base with earthy yet cheerful colors, found a balance between muted and lively pastels, contrasted with white pigmented oak, and sprinkled pops of color in yellow and cerise pink. It became very colorful but in a nice way, just like Tactel!
Our biggest but perhaps also trickiest challenge was to create space for socializing and larger conferences but also rooms for alone time and intimate meetings. We simply redid the floor plan and came up with a solution that could meet all needs. We can only say that it was a challenge, but challenges usually result in exciting solutions. Now the office has a completely new look with a new kitchen, spontaneous meeting places, meeting rooms for small or large meetings, and a lounge that invites spontaneous meetings as well as a fun after-work!
