FULL INTERIOR CONCEPT
At the animal hospital in Helsingborg, an existing shelter was transformed into a recreation room for the staff, intended to be an oasis for relaxation, exercise, and yoga. It needed to be a flexible space for various purposes, divided into different zones. Since it is an active shelter that must be able to be emptied quickly, there were certain requirements and challenges, such as everything needing to be removable, including the floor, which is made of taped tiles laid in a pattern.
To erase the feeling of a shelter, we chose to cover the floor, walls, ceiling, and pipes in a calm color scheme with furniture in exciting shapes that also brought energy to the room through their color choices. Arched walls adorn selected walls to create space while also being usable by gym-goers, and with a quick sweep, mesh curtains can be drawn to create a suitable atmosphere for yoga exercises. Voila, an oasis is born!
