Larsson & Lange / Green

MALMÖ

40 SQM

FULL INTERIOR CONCEPT

The windows facing the street have been fitted with custom oak shelves with sparse shelves to serve as both screens and displays, allowing glimpses both in and out between the plants and the green products. In the other two rooms for shampooing and lounging, the green theme is reflected with the same wall tones and preserved original stone floors. Green moss climbs the wall up to the ceiling above the massaging shampoo chairs, also in green attire. At the back of the premises, behind a deep green curtain, is the hairdressers' color laboratory where gentle colors are mixed according to the customer's wishes.

In Slottsstaden in Malmö, Larsson & Lange have opened their first ecologically certified salon. In the premises, designed for a butcher shop in 1939, the original walls in white and red-brown marble were preserved but somewhat hidden behind existing furnishings. These tones set the color palette for the cutting area, which you first enter from Regementsgatan. In the same ecological spirit, we used micro-mosaic of recycled glass, which the cash desk and wall module were clad in, where the color scheme is echoed in the stone on the wall. The same shade reappears in a custom-designed shelving system with displays of organic products and magazine shelves.
