FULL INTERIOR CONCEPT
At the top of Wingårdh's curved building, The Corner in Hyllie, is now the headquarters and studio of the men's fashion company John Henric. With a desire for a flexible office with room to grow, a concept was developed in a monochrome color scheme of black, white, and gray to highlight the clothing and accessories. The penthouse floor has an exciting character with varying levels, creating dynamism and personality in the space. Meeting rooms, offices, workspaces, conversation rooms, and the photo studio are all located on a higher level, which has been marked with a darker wall tone from the rest of the space, creating an interesting contrast with the other areas.
The kitchen, dining area, and lounge have a generous ceiling height with access to both a balcony and a large roof terrace, and have instead been given lighter walls. The raw concrete pillars, untreated steps, and concrete floor add a nice dynamic to the otherwise newly built elements. The strict and hard meets soft, rounded shapes, which we highlighted by custom-making furniture in the same rounded form, softening the otherwise strict concept.
