Ramen to Bíiru

MALMÖ

30 SQM

FULL INTERIOR CONCEPT

When Ramen to Bíiru took over the space opposite the entrance in Malmö Saluhall, it felt natural to take advantage of the generous ceiling height, given the limited floor space, to maximize the number of seats. We chose to build vertically by creating traditional ramen booths where the ceiling became the floor of an additional level. The central staircase leads up to the existing window and seating, offering a new perspective and view over the Saluhall, creating a focal point from the entrance.

With a nod to Ramen to Bíiru at Möllan, there is a strong sense of recognition, not only with the extensive selection of Mikkeller's beer on tap but also with the colors and materials in the form of the warm wood type elm, which is recurrent in the bar, tables, and wooden slats in the booths. The black metal and red details in the seats, bar stools, and neon signs are also consistent here in the Saluhall branch.
